During the Cromer Carnival 2017 parade, something truly amazing took place. As headlined in Norfolk’s EDP “Man stops Cromer Carnival parade, so he can propose to his girlfriend.”
Completely unaware of what was about to unfold, our future bride and Cromer Carnival’s Senior Attendant was innocently riding on the royal float until her nervous yet determined boyfriend stopped the procession to propose. Click here to see the video, it’s worth a watch!
When we were asked by the couple to photograph their wedding, we couldn’t be more excited. We met Victoria and fiancé Cameron at their wedding venue, Wensum Valley Golf Club. Not to give too much away but their wedding ideas sounded amazing! With their big day set for December 2018, the four of us agreed that their engagement photo shoot would work very well during a contrasting season. The couple explained that they first met at Holkham Beach therefore the engagement shoot’s location was easily decided.
With heavy snow early March, we feared that the engagement shoot wouldn’t be quite so contrasting so we rescheduled for April and were blessed with sunshine and clear skies.
We met mid morning at the entrance to Holkham's National Nature Reserve. Together we walked under stunning pine trees and ventured out onto the hot dunes. The sun, incredibly bright continuously beamed over the dunes creating a desert feel to the images. Despite the hot 23° weather, we clambered up isolated and steep dunes and couldn't resist jumping down a few!
Spending a couple of hours with this amazing couple allowed us to figure out exactly how they reacted to the camera - as we predicted from their exciting engagement, brilliantly!
