A hand crafted, DC and Marvel super hero themed wedding of their dreams. Lottie’s creativity was on full display from the flowing back drop of lights in the ceremony, the handmade bouquet, the Lego super hero wedding cake and the super hero themed touches and details found throughout.
Exactly one year to the day, we met with Lottie, Seb and Jax at Earlham Park, Norwich for their DC Batman and Robin themed pre-wedding photo shoot - for those that have not seen the photos, check them out by clicking here! So why did all the magic happen on the 4th November? Exactly six years before their wedding day, Lottie and Seb made their relationship official (according to Facebook)!
On Sunday 4th November, Lottie and Seb exchanged vows at Elm Farm Country House, Norwich and with the family dog, Maddie, being a huge part of their lives he even played the important role as an Usher. Just like a scene from a movie, Maddie walked beautifully down the aisle and then sat quietly throughout the ceremony... amazing!
If Maddie didn't melt your heart, then check out the Page Boy, Bride & Groom's son Jax...we have a feeling that in a few years this little stunner is going to break some hearts! With the cutest pout, Jax proudly walked down the aisle holding a sign "Don't Worry Ladies, I'm Still Single".
Luckily the grey and rain of the previous days held off and a bright and crisp autumn day took its place, so after the ceremony, before we lost our Autumn light, we captured those important family photographs and whisked the couple away for some romantic shots revealing vibrant Autumn leaves and the clear crisp beautiful sky. After our quiet stroll, we returned back to Elm Farm and soon, the superhero masks and capes were back on. We took advantage of the venues beautiful garden "Garden of Eden" and captured some epic superhero shots by their lake.
As it was just a day before Fireworks Night, we decided to try something a little different and created some long exposure Sparkler Fairy Tale shots - not sure how Lottie and Seb managed to stand still for so long without shivering! As Ryan managed the camera, carefully holding the sparkler, I ran in circles around the couple. To distract everyone from the cold, Ryan decided it would be hilarious to not tell me when the exposure was complete and left me running around - by the end I could barely stand up!
As the evening approached and the evening guests started to arrive, the very talented DJ, Lee Van - an exceptional Norfolk singer and songwriter - joined the stage, did his thing and very soon after, the dance floor started to fill as we said our goodbyes and left everyone to enjoy the fun!
